Better Late than Never

I finally overcame the inertia that was preventing me to get started with blogging. I did that by blissfully assuming that I will never be the only one suffering from guy-who-is-the-only-visitor-to-his-blog syndrome. Because I am not sure why I am starting blogging, I cant tell if I belong to categories of bloggers who blog to get their MBA app essays right, or because blogging is the cool thing of the day or
those who blog for the sheer joy of telling others "What? Blog? big deal even i have one!!".

In my very first post, I am not sure what i want to do, but i am sure what i dont want to do, and surprisingly the list is quite long. Firstly I will not make any desperate attempts to sound anymore "cool" than what I am. Secondly I admit with pride that i am not one of those who get pleasure by making sure that every second word they write is alien to the reader , with absolute disregard for the reader's grievances.
Lastly, I dont want this "I dont want" list to grow so long that it exceeds the added up content of future posts to this blog.

Like many others, I have always been mesmerized by certain incredible abilities of authors and film makers. One such ability I would love to have is to be able to produce tons of text, especially in the absence of content, while making sure that readers feel they are reading something interesting, atleast as long as they are reading it. However, because I have just started with blogging, I have a lot of stuff to write.
